My bf is on this poker high, and has decided he wants to be a pro. That’s worse than wanting to be a pro athlete or even a famous entertainer, wouldn’t you agree? To base your life solely on a gambling game (yes, poker also has strategy tactics, but ultimately its the luck of the draw of the hand)…
I do believe that he is dead serious and wants to move to Las Vegas, NV…
Now, i always tell him i support him and his life and what he wants to do with it, but this? He also was in 3 bands in the past, is a very talented musician, and he just let that go after like 6 years. I think this is exactly like that, but honestly I think he should stick to music cuz he has better chances of doing something…any opinions? Girls, what would you say/do in this situation.

hes been on highs and lows with money since he started this obsession, and i know how its going to turn out. You read the pro poker players biographies…took them5 to 10 years to get there…i dont think its worth it…
it just sucks because he basically is braking up with me for poker…because how can I follow him there for this?
